What Will You Do?
This may include customizing existing content to present in new formats as well as becoming certified in additional equipment and job related programs.
You will collaborate with departmental peers and management within the department as well as various business unit stakeholders to determine necessary program scope and objectives.
This position will utilize departmental learning design methodologies to create learning events, instructional activities and materials that effectively incorporate adult learning principles and will evaluate learners and programs to ensure individual performance expectations, skill application and organizational needs have been achieved.
Facilitate learning experiences in multiple delivery modalities including, but not limited to, eLearning, instructor-led training in both in person and virtual environments.
This role must demonstrate flexibility to shift between each facet of their role with little difficulty. In addition, this role will stay current with innovative, new learning experience design modalities and be able to create pilot programs based on this research.
What Do You Need?
- College Degree required or prior experience in Instructional Design, training delivery required
- 2 years’ experience in a Training & Development role in a warehouse setting preferred
- Design and development of distribution and warehouse front line training required
- Experience working on multiple projects and initiatives preferred
- Experience facilitating learning experiences for frontline employees required
- Ability to gain PIV and Forklift Certification as well as certify and train other associates
- 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment, Required
- Previous experience in supervision within Distribution and Warehouse setting, Required
- Experience in operating Manufacturing or warehouse equipment and department processes, Required
