Experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal

Ashley Injury Lawyers is looking to add an experienced personal injury case manager to our team. This is an in-office position only - no remote work is available.

Please do not apply if you do not have prior personal injury experience, are looking for a remote position or do not have EXCELLENT written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies
• Handle pre-litigation caseload including, but not limited to, management of file through treating stage, preparing demands to adjusters, negotiation and settlement under attorney's supervision, lien negotiation, etc.
• Making and receiving calls; case-related calls
• Drafting letters, and other documents related to balances, medical records, etc.
• Organizing, reviewing, and summarizing medical records

Qualifications:

• Possesses exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated
• Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software
• Professional case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal at a personal injury firm
• Two years of PLAINTIFF Personal Injury experience required for this position
• Must be able to work in office setting - this is an in-office position
• Hardworking, Team player
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
