What are the responsibilities and job description for the EEG Tech position at Ashtabula County Medical Center?

Performs Electroencephalography studies on all patient populations served. Performs

intraoperative EEG.  Assists with electromyography studies.  May be cross trained in other cardiopulmonary areas including clerical duties.

 

  • Graduate of an approved EEG program or on the job training with one year experience
  • Maintains communication between physicians, nursing and other departments as part of the health care delivery team. 
  • Participates in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities
  • On the job training candidates must have at least one year of experience.
  • CPR certified.
