Technical Drawing – Designer

Position Overview

Primarily responsible for supporting the efficient operation of ASI Signage, North Carolina’s operations team.

You will be responsible for doing multiple types of drawings. Design drawings, fabrication drawings, submittal

drawings, conceptual drawings.

Responsibilities

 Produces technical production drawings used in the fabrication of interior and exterior signs.

 Converts conceptual/artistic sign drawings to fabrication drawings.

 Uses the appropriate graphic design and production design software: Adobe suite, EnRoute, Flexi Sign,

to draft production drawing for Manufacturing

 Accurately converts field survey measurements, scale, and material calculations into production quality

measurements and drawings.

 Adheres to company processes for data storage, file management, artwork version control, and

technical/fabrication specification standards.

 Demonstrates skill in written and oral communication with staff and clients

 Collaborates with team members, other departments, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions

 Assists in Quality Control – confirms signage and materials/colors conform to the Creative Brief and

customer specifications.

 Works independently or as part of the overall production team.

 Works overtime and weekends as occasionally needed.

 Complies with and support all ASI safety rules, policies, procedures, and standards.

 Performs other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

 Ability to converse in mathematical terms and convert fractional measurements to decimal measurements

 Ability to sit and focus on computer work for long periods of time

 Organized, process-driven, with meticulous attention to detail.

 Background/ experience working in Adobe suites , Flexi Sign and other software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
