What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Product Manager, Finance position at tandigm?
Reporting to the Senior Director, Product, the Senior Product Manager, Finance will work with Tandigm’s Finance team and other stakeholders to identify the customer need and the larger business objectives that are required to support our growing business and articulate what success looks like for a product and collaborate with engineering to turn that vision into a reality.
The Senior Product Manager, Finance, will combine product planning, knowledge of financial systems, and input from Tandigm’s Finance stakeholders to manage the lifecycle of the Finance product line. Responsible for gathering requirements and defining their vision with engineering as well as overseeing product strategy.
Essential Functions
- Strong leadership skills to drive the product and business planning processes for cross-functional teams.
- Analyze Tandigm’s expanding business and grow products that are scalable, configurable, and future-proofed.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships at the Vice President and Senior level and accurately translate and document high level stakeholder business requirements to more detailed user stories to Engineering.
- Assess current competitor offering and seek opportunities for differentiation.
- Drive the process of working with and prioritizes inputs from business stakeholders.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, internal IT stakeholders, and external partners, such as vendors, to align product and platform architectures and capabilities according to agreed goals for nonfunctional requirements.
- Document well defined requirements, acceptance criteria, user stories, mock-ups/design as the source of detailed requirements for development, Q/A and documentation.
- Create the roadmap for their product area(s) and execute on that roadmap in partnership with their business partner(s)
- Serve as the product expert and understand the business processes and user workflow.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver solutions to meet end user and market needs.
- Identify enhancements and own the product backlog.
- Support relevant sprint ceremonies in the product owner role, including sprint planning, grooming and demos.

- Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization to management.
