Responsibilities

- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math.
- Assist in stocking shelves, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store is clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
- Supervise and support fellow team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote sales through upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and drive store performance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Experience with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of retail math to assist with transactions and inventory management.
