JOB DESCRIPTION:

In-Office: First Thursday of every month

Sr.Content Strategist Health Care (Working Title: Sr Content Management Analyst)

Looking for a seasoned writer and digital strategist who creates content that's on-brand, uses concise yet conversational language, and adheres to digital accessibility guidelines. In this role, you'll collaborate with multiple teams to build cohesive digital experiences that enable consumers to use our digital resources to manage their health and the health of the people they care about.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Writing and optimizing digital content, including emails, SMS texts, and web pages, with the end-user experience in mind

• Using your knowledge of current email best practices to write copy for both HTML and text-only readers, lay it out in a preexisting HTML template, and add digital design elements (CTA buttons, bullets, links, etc.)

• Incorporating URLs in content that align and support tracking and analytics

• Proofing and editing digital content in accordance with company and AP styles

• Ensuring all copy is compliant with our legal standards, and 508 and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

• Helping define content standards, categories, taxonomy, and workflows in a CMS

What You Bring:

• A track record of defining, socializing, testing, iterating, and delivering outstanding digital experiences

• Experience writing operational and transactional emails and SMS text messages(please provide writing samples)

• Familiarity with multi-channel best practices and standards

• Solid understanding of UX best practices and HTML for emails

• Basic understanding of SEO and how to write with it in mind

• Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar, specifically, pulling results and implementing tagging

• Aptitude for asking the right questions to clarify processes and communicate them back to users in a language they understand

• Comfort defending your content decisions in front of executives, legal, and compliance

• A positive attitude and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, work with agile teams preferred

• Experience in insurance or health care is a plus

Hiring Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree

• 5 years of experience in a related field or 7 years of experience in a related field in lieu of a degree
