Procurement and Sourcing Manager - eCommerce

We are a fast-growing e-commerce brand dedicated to enhancing well-being through wellness products. We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This part-time role offers significant growth potential, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time and additional perks and incentives as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
• Inventory System Oversight: Manage our inventory using the Odoo ERP system to ensure accurate tracking, optimal stock levels, and efficient order processing.
• Labeling System Implementation: Design and oversee an effective inventory labeling system that integrates seamlessly with our digital systems.
• Demand Forecasting: Conduct forecasting and cost analysis to inform operational decisions.
• Cash Flow Management: Strategize to maintain positive cash flow by managing costs and optimizing inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant Experience: Proven supply chain management experience. Preffereed if you have experience with contract manufacturers in the beauty, supplements, or wellness industries.
• ERP Proficiency: Strong proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Odoo.
• Negotiation and Communication: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and use insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness across operations.
