Job Mission
Support Security Manager with the direction of security policies, standards, guidelines, procedures and programs to ensure ongoing maintenance of security.

Job Description
-Physical protection responsibilities include asset protection, workplace violence prevention, access control systems, video surveillance and other related areas.
-Assist Security Manager with the security functions, including compliance initiatives, training and development, investigations and reporting.
-Collaborate with security staff and vendors with security programs that safeguard the physical safety of employees and visitors.
-Assist Security Manager with investigation of security breaches as necessary.
-Assist Security Manager with security badging system, perimeter and fire/smoke alarm system. Perform periodic testing of equipment.
-Perform badging tasks for new hires and conversions, including access control for authorized employees and visitors.
-Perform routine gap assessments of facilities and multiple campuses, interior and exterior.
-Badge photo management.
-Investigate personnel issues.
-Perform contractor check ins.
-Monitor daily parking complaints and issues that security staff encounter during their routine patrols.
-Experience in emergency procedures and able to work with facilities staff to ensure that emergency procedures are followed successfully.
-Able to work closely and effectively with public safety personnel.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience
-Background in law enforcement preferred.
-Proficiency with access control systems (ProWatch preferred), ingress and egress procedures and electronic security systems, IP surveillance systems, fire and smoke alarm systems.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
-Facilities/Contractor experience preferred.
-Experience working in a manufacturing and office environment.
-Possess current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
-Capable of interacting with a range of coworkers from assemblers to senior level management.
-Able to deal with conflict.
