Field Engineer - Civil/Earthworks

Overview

ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field. - 2 - 3 years of related experience - Excellent computer skills - Microsoft products required - CAD experiencepreferred - Document control management software such as Procore or Fieldwire preferred - Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

- Assist with analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects - Inspection of quality of work performed during the daily activities of the overall construction on heavy civil projects. Included but not limited to; roads, environmental, excavations, concrete and rebar. - Demonstrate good organizational, planning and time management skills - Help detects deficiencies and addressed deficiencies in a timely and effective manner - Work with the field engineering staff acting as their field representative ensuring construction complies with the QA/QC requirements. - Interface with field foreman and superintendents to maintain an open line of communication and reporting monitor job progress - Develops, implements and administers project engineering procedures and other work documents; tracks and logs documentation - Assist with managing project document control - Assist with managing procurement of materials and consumables, including vendor pre-qualifications and development of RFQ’s - Interact cross-functionally with Field Engineers and other team members. - Assist in other duties as necessary
