GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for developing and analyzing practical and relevant business data to help sales and operating departments focus on improving company metrics. Position will focus on pricing profitability and inventory management as well as other factors that influence cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis for company metrics and overall operational performance, with a focus on Pricing and Margin analysis.
- Analysis of operating cost including staffing, capacity and utilization, Purchase Price Variance and Make/Buy analyses; as well as other cost related projects.
- Partner with Cost department to review inventory and related work order systems including physical to general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, audit explanations, and standard costs
- Create cost analysis reports collaborating with Sales & Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and peers in Finance to formulate corrective actions.
- Analysis of standard costs of new and revised products and review and analysis of standard costs for existing products
- Provide cost analysis support to cross functional areas as requested.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual operating (participate in standard cost calculation), financial, and capital expenditure budget.
- Use experience and knowledge to pull data from internal databases to produce financial and operating analytics
- Assist with analyzing budget to actual financial statement results and research and report on variances
- Verifying the reliability and integrity of financial data and accounting systems by ensuring regular reconciliations are completed timely
- Ad-hoc financial analysis as required by business
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required, MBA preferred
Ongoing training, certifications, or seminar attendance in relevant area
Experience:
5 years of financial analysis experience required.
Manufacturing and accounting experience highly preferred
Prior experience/use and proficiency with integrated ERP (IFS) systems, Reporting Tools such as PowerBI, spreadsheets, and MS Office / Windows required.
Bi-lingual capabilities (Spanish / English) helpful.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment. Must be highly proficient using reporting functions and tools to mine data. Must have strong interpersonal skills; work well with associates at all levels; be able to influence and motivate others. Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, and be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Must be willing to undertake new responsibilities as business needs change. Must have a strong work ethic, possess high integrity, and exercise good judgment.
