Assistant Hotel Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. The Assistant Hotel Manager will assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maximizing revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties:
- Assist the Hotel Manager in managing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality service standards are met
- Collaborate with the Hotel Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to guest feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with human resources duties such as hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards
- Assist with night audit procedures as needed
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and dining options to provide recommendations to guests

Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or a related field is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations
- Proficiency in revenue management techniques to maximize hotel profitability
- Multilingual abilities are preferred but not required
- Knowledge of hotel phone systems and property management systems (PMS)
- Familiarity with human resources practices and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
