What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Assistant position at ASPEQ Heating Group?
Supports purchasing department by performing the following duties:
- Reviewing acknowledged purchase orders. Validating price, quantity and agreed to receipt date.
- Expediting and provides status of past due purchase orders.
- Maintaining electronic records and follow up of files of purchases, shipments, and related matters.
- Supporting stockroom personal and accounting as needed to resolve discrepant receipts
- Frequent contact with suppliers via phone and Outlook email to resolve and status orders.
- Perform other related job duties as required.
