We have a team of dedicated Medical Assistant trainers that will help develop a new set of skills and provide you with the training to succeed within your role!
What will you be doing?
The Aspire Medical Assistant is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergy and sinus problems. They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients with each interaction they have, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind. They will practice precision everywhere including completing allergy tests, administering injections and entering patient information into our EMR. They will share responsibility with the front desk team, collecting payment and scheduling follow-ups as needed. They will exemplify integrity in everything that they do, always doing what is best for our team and our patients.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM & Half-day Fridays!
Clinic Locations: Katy and Uptown
Roles & Responsibilities
- Willingness to be cross-trained in a variety of both front and back-office duties to provide full cycle clinic support
- Escorts patient to exam room; obtain vitals, past/present medical history and current medication list
- Must be able to effectively communicate allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients
- Performs all testing and treatment including in accordance with Aspire Allergy’s protocols and safety measures
- Administers subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Navigates EHR system to record accurate patient health information
- Reach out to insurance providers to obtains CT authorizations
- Schedules follow-up appointments
- Collect patient payments for past and current appointments
- Adheres to OSHA requirements including universal precautions and sharps disposal guidelines
- Follows all HIPAA rules and regulations including confidentiality or patient information

Requirements
- No Experience needed!
- Flexibility to travel among clinics in your region
- Must have a valid driver's license/car insurance

- Must possess exceptional customer service skills
- Must be willing to administer injections
- Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate
- Must possess the ability to maintain an effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public
- Must possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation
