Responsibilities:
- Sort and place materials on racks, and shelves, according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or style.
- Managed to work in cold temperatures (freezer)
- All finished goods are palletized, recorded in SAP, and shrink-wrapped to specifications.
- All Finished goods are moved to the proper freezer location in a timely manner.
- All materials used in production are transferred to correct locations in SAP properly and accurately, before and after using materials.
- All documentation is completed accurately – Pallet count sheets, Pallet tags, and lot number accuracy.
- Maintain raw material, packaging, warehouse, and freezer in accordance with GMP.
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible, clean organized, and safe for all thru traffic.
- Always operates the forklift in a safe manner.
- Serve as backup for other department activities.
- Relieve warehouse personnel for breaks and meals.
- Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety, and other company programs and procedures, and in accordance with government codes and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School diploma / GED desired or equivalent years of experience in an automated or semi-automated packing environment preferred
- Previous experience in a baking environment preferred
- A mechanical ability that makes possible the identifying and solving of mechanical and process problems
- Ability to comprehend and read operational manuals and complete written forms (In English)
