Position is Hybrid - Remote with some on-site requirements

 

Must live in Indiana

 

Position Summary

The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Clinical Applications Analyst will collaborate with management and clinicians in designing, implementing and maintaining clinical systems under the direction of the Director of Clinical Applications who oversees the EHR Department. This individual is responsible for providing operational guidance with Aspire Indiana Health’s EHR. This professional will be focused on software and processes designed for use in automation and as a clinical tool (EHR integrated patient care equipment) and will provide education, continuous support, troubleshooting and identification of opportunities for improvements for clinical information systems.  They will also oversee the adaptation of the EHR to assist Aspire staff to efficiently meet the needs of our changing clinical environment, external requirements, new initiatives, innovative service enhancements, and strategic partnerships. They will provide technical and project management expertise to oversee the implementation, design, customization, and maintenance of Aspire’s EHR in a way that supports our vision of integrated care.

 

Education and Experience

 

Level 1

  • An Associates degree, with 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting or a related bachelors with at least 1 of progressively responsible EHR experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Value Based activities from a clinical applications perspective required 
  • Previous experience providing primary application support and/or training for an electronic clinical record keeping systems preferred

 

Level II

  • An Associates degree, with 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting or a related bachelors with at least 3 year of progressively responsible EHR experience in a healthcare setting required
  • One (1) year of experience providing primary application support and/or training for an electronic clinical record keeping systems required
  • Value Based activities from a clinical applications perspective required 
  • One (1) year of experience with system analysis preferred
  • Training in clinical informatics preferred

 

Level III

  • An Associates degree, with 7 years of experience in a healthcare setting or a related Bachelor's degree with at least 5 year of progressively responsible EHR experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Three (3) years of experience providing primary application support and/or training for an electronic clinical record keeping systems required
  • One (1) year of experience with system analysis required
  • Training in clinical informatics required
  • Value Based activities from a clinical applications perspective required 
  • Project Management & Process Improvement Skills required
