FAMILY SERVICES COORDINATOR - NORTH
(Wayne, Ontario & Seneca counties, NY)
AspireHopeNY, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Family Services Coordinator, covering the Wayne, Seneca, and Ontario County area; to provide supervision of staff and services. Will assist in recruitment and training of new employees. Must have good organizational, communication and data entry skills. Must be able to work independently or as vital part of the Team with other Family Support Coordinators. Preferred, experience in supervising employees, creating budgets, program oversight and Medicaid Wavier billing.
Requirements:
Must be a parent or caregiver of a child with emotional/behavioral or developmental disability to qualify to complete the required Provisional Family Peer Advocate application within 30 days of hire.
- Must have experience in utilizing children's mental health, special education and other community services.
- Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in areas of Human Services, Psychology, or Education OR be a Credentialed Family Peer Advocate (FPA) with a minimum of 3 yrs. supervisory experience, leadership skills, computer skills, and grant writing experience.
Occasional travel across multiple counties and some evenings/weekends required. Must have reliable home internet and home office space, reliable transportation and flexible schedule.
Full Time: 40 hours weekly
Pay: $16.70 per hour
