Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at Aspirus MedEvac in Tomahawk, WI. As a Paramedic, you will provide safe and comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports
- Apply specialized principles and techniques of transport paramedic practice, emergency procedures, and diagnostics
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Operate critical care ground transfer ambulances and participate in 911 coverage for designated areas
Requirements
- Knowledge of emergency patient care standards and practices
- Active Wisconsin Paramedic license and active Michigan Paramedic license within 120 days of hire
- Current BLS certification, ACLS certification, and valid Driver's license in the state of residency
- Possesses a valid Paramedic National Registry license and Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operating Certification (EVOC) or training
