ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking a Lead Firefighter in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract located in Enid, Oklahoma.
Functions as a lead firefighter responding and directing crew members in structural and aircraft fire fighting, first aid, and all other fire department related activities. Responsible for safe arrival of the crew and vehicle. Directs fire suppression and rescue efforts of crew. When first to arrive, assumes command until relieved by a more senior fire authority. Directs inspection and maintenance of fire vehicles and equipment. Conducts crew training as necessary to insure crew proficiency and certification. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- 14 months of certified FES Driver/Operator experience
- 3 years of Fire Service experience
- Firefighter I and II are mandatory prior to employment and must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Fire Instructor I must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Fire Inspector I must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Hazardous Materials Operations with Mission Specific Competency (MSC), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Product Control (PC) is mandatory prior to employment and must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements
- Incident Safety Officer must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Airport firefighter must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- National Registry and Oklahoma state Emergency Medical Responder or National Registry and Oklahoma State Emergency Medical Technician
