Lead, Assembly
B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY company, is looking for an Assembly lead to join our manufacturing team located in Russellville, AL.
What you will be doing:

Experience with electrical assembly, arm assembly, mechanical assembly, and packaging processes.

Experience leading multiple employees.
-
Have basic math and mechanical skills.
-
Able to train employees in the proper way to perform assembly processes with minimal error while focused on uptime and throughput.

Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
-
Provide employees with tools, resources, motivation, training, and accountability.
-
Needs to have flexibility with production hours.
-
Will need to lead by example by adhering to all code of conduct policies, rules, and regulations.

Understanding & usage of the metric system, reading micrometer, caliper & tape measure.

Good interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail.
The skills and experience you need:
-
High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
-
1 to 3 years experience with manufacturing processes.
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
-
Must have strong verbal communication skills.
-
5-S training is a plus.
-
Lean training is a plus.
-
Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
-
Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.

Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.

Manufacture products in conformance to plant quality standards.
