Glazing Project Manager
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking candidates for a Glazing Project Manager. This position is based in the Yuma, AZ Branch.

This position will report into the Yuma, AZ district office and will be responsible for proper scheduling, project management and execution of all glass installation and glazing jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, structural drawings, shop drawings, installation requirements, and architectural intent
- Conduct take-offs, prepares accurate cost estimates, project schedules and material procurement processing for commercial windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and other glass and aluminum solutions
- Management of all Installation and Glazing Technicians activities
- Perform formal project management activities, including simultaneous project oversight
- Order, track, and coordinate materials pertaining to each project to successful conclusion
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Establishes and nurtures relationships with industry professionals, manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors, and public agencies in an ultimate effort to promote company revenue growth
- Ensure up to date, complete and accurate records, budgets, schedules, and progress reports
- Participates in quality control inspections and process improvements
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience directly managing/supervising Field Technicians in the Glazing/Construction Industry.
- Proficient at understanding and translating construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Background in the successful planning and completion of contracted jobs in the Construction Industry.
- Prior experience as it relates to scheduling, ordering, and coordinating installation activities.
- Possess the flexibility to work a varying schedule (different hours of the day and weekends if necessary).
- Exceptional communication (written/verbal) skills.
- Proven hands-on experience in the development of relationships with General Contractors and End-Users across the Retail, Healthcare, Government and additional sectors as well as sub contractors across this spectrum.
- Proven experience in dealing with vendors and suppliers in the proper ordering and timely supply of products.
- Experience in establishing monthly forecasting and results.
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office and Baan preferred
This is a team approach with effective communication skills to successfully work with other departments such as: Sales Reps, Field Operations, Supply Chain, Parts Department, Customer Service, etc. Must be an excellent communicator to lead, manage and motivate the staff in an effective and fair manner.
This position demands a results-oriented approach coupled with high-energy, reliability and be disciplined. High School Diploma (required) and AA, BA, BS preferred.
