Quality Assurance Technician
What you would do as our Quality Assurance Technician:
The QA Technician is responsible for generating and reporting of data to QC & manufacturing departments. Technician performs document control responsibilities, process improvement activities and provides support for manufacturing.
You would also:
- Work as a hands-on Technician with responsibilities to improve manufacturing operations.
- Check prints, set-up sheets, work instructions and other controlled documents for accuracy.
- Perform inspection on parts/materials per drawing or other specifications.
- Identify and quarantine potentially non-conforming material.
- Update spreadsheets, generate charts and graphs.
The skills and experience you need:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Experience of utilizing SPC and complex data analysis techniques. Prefer knowledge and/or experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma
- Experience as a QA Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to analyze data for integrity and trends. Report out to drive cross functional activity
- Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience required
- Knowledge of measurement and use of metrology devices/tools
