Solutions Architect

Job Description:

As a Solutions Architect at ATG, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions

that meet the highest standards for our fleet of managed devices. Leveraging your technical expertise in software

as a service, infrastructure and cloud technologies, you will collaborate closely with our project, support, and

engineering teams to devise comprehensive solutions that align with our service objectives.

Responsibilities:

● Design and Architecture: Collaborate with project managers and technical stakeholders to design and

architect reliable and scalable solutions that meet our challenging service goals.

● Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and goals, and

translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.

● Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to internal teams throughout the

solution lifecycle, from design and implementation to optimization and support.

● Documentation: Develop detailed solution documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical

specifications, and implementation plans to ensure knowledge sharing and facilitate troubleshooting.

● Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, conducting research

and evaluations to recommend innovative solutions that drive business value.

● Automation: Design and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment, configuration,

and maintenance processes.

● Monitoring and Incident Response: Ensure proper monitoring of solutions to detect issues proactively

and establish incident response procedures.

● Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting solutions, participating in technical

discussions, and addressing concerns to build strong, long-lasting relationships.

● Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies within our solutions and

implement optimizations to improve overall performance and scalability.

● Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to

ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.

● Minimum of 7 years of experience in a solutions architect role, preferably within a managed services or

cloud services environment.

● Exceptional understanding of networking, operating systems, and distributed systems concepts.

● Expertise in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.

● Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and storage technologies.

● Experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint

protection, and encryption. And show proficiency with security principles, best practices, and common

security controls.

● Knowledgeable with security standards and regulations, such as NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

● Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges, identify solutions,

and drive resolution in a fast-paced environment.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both

technical and non-technical audiences.

● Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
