What you’ll do
The Junior Designer sits within Assignar’s Marketing team. Your goal will be to create impactful designs that capture and promote our brand, vision and goals across several business functions in consistent, close collaboration with our marketing team.
Salary: $40-$60k, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing team to create engaging graphics for a variety of initiatives across the business
- Pitch creative ideas and participate in various design projects from concept to completion
- Bring designs to life across a wide variety of touchpoints and channels including digital, social, web, print, video and more
- Use project requirements and a variety of techniques to deliver final designs
- Create drafts and make edits to designs based on feedback and objectives
- Display a positive, team-building work attitude without ego
- Work to continually improve creative processes
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Junior Designer or equivalent experience
- Portfolio of digital and social content that demonstrates conceptual thinking and exceptional execution
- Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping)
- Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
- Master of Adobe Suite, Figma and G-suite (especially Google Slides)
- Strong time management, multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines and handle unforeseen situations
- Creativity skills, a positive attitude, and problem-solving aptitude
- Familiarity with or experience in construction a plus
