Job Title: Resident Assistant

Location: Springboro, OH

Hours: Day/Night Shift

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

1. Provide personalized care and assistance to our residents, including but not limited to activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and resident care.

2. Monitor resident health and report any significant changes to the nursing staff

3. Promote a safe and comfortable environment that provides opportunities for socialization, entertainment, exercise, and relaxation.

4. Participate in creating and implementing individualized care plans for residents, ensuring they receive the best possible care tailored to their needs.

5. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as making beds, cleaning rooms, and maintaining common areas.

6. Communicate regularly with residents' families, providing updates on their loved ones' health and wellbeing.

7. Adhere to all company policies and regulations, maintaining professional standards of care and behavior.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred.

3. CPR and First Aid Certification required, or willingness to obtain these certifications upon hire.

4. Ability to work with people of varying backgrounds and temperaments.

5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

6. Dependable and empathetic with a strong dedication to improving the lives of the elderly.

7. Must pass a background check

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically able to assist residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring residents and assisting with walking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Rotating weekends
