What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Supervisor position at ASSOCIA?
We are looking for a Building Manager for one of our premiere associations. Duties include overseeing the safety and maintenance of designated properties and ensuring that these properties are in compliance with all applicable regulations, as well as, recommending and coordinating improvements to the property as needed to ensure a safe, functional, and appealing space.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a safe environment with proper lighting, signage, and disability access
- Drafting and updating emergency plans and evacuation procedures
- Overseeing security, fire prevention, and other safety systems
- Building maintenance and janitorial services and duties
- Contracting professionals for repairs as needed
- Overseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobs
- Supervising grounds staff
- Providing training for building employees as needed
- Assisting with emergency response and evacuations
- Inspecting the building frequently for signs of damage or wear and cleanliness
- Administrative task as required
- Janitorial duties
- Light maintenance duties
