Responsible for the overall operation of the Club/Shop by providing exceptional customer service and overseeing daily golf operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Checks members and guests in utilizing basic Point of Sale (POS) system, manage payments and transactions, coordinates and schedules leagues and tee times, answers the telephone
- Maintains a professional shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly and by vacuuming/cleaning the shop each day and as needed
- Follows corporate guidelines for opening and closing duties, cash handling, and reporting
- Handles escalated member/guest service issues in a prompt and effective manner
- Maintains a professional and service-oriented environment in the Club/Shop by utilizing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Implements and support all Golf initiatives and programs as requested by management
- Other duties may be assigned by management
- Experience in a similar hospitality/customer service oriented environment – Golf industry preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, committees, members, and guests
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash and credit card transactions and the ability to operate office equipment required
- Experience handling customer service issues and the ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, co-workers and management
- Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
- A valid Driver’s License is required
- Must be able to pass a drug test
