Bradford’s Outpatient programs are important to a patient’s continuation of care, so they stay engaged in their recovery journey after leaving an inpatient treatment program. In some cases, our outpatient programs may be the appropriate starting point for individuals committed to their recovery. Either way, our counselors provide the necessary engagement and support through individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy in an intensive outpatient programming (IOP) schedule. Position Summary:
As an Assistant Counselor, you will work collaboratively with treatment team to coordinate, as directed, quality care and case management for patients living with substance use disorder. Adhere to professional code of ethics. Assure documentation reflects the care delivered. Perform all other ethical and professional duties as requested by the Treatment Director or Clinical Program Coordinator. Provide patient support in accordance with established Bradford Health Services Philosophy and Standards of Treatment. Responsible for compliance with all Bradford Health Services' Standards of Conduct, Policies and Procedures, Principles of Treatment, and regulations of accrediting bodies such as State and The Joint Commission.
Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, “Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records”; and 42 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act”. This position has unrestricted access to patient health information.
