Credit Risk Review Officer II - Remote Within Footprint

Remote within Core Footprint of Wisconsin, Illinois, or Minnesota. Occasional (quarterly) in-person meetings within one of those two states may be required.

Job Summary
Responsible for conducting loan review analysis of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans in the bank's portfolio under direct supervision from Senior CRR officers. Evaluate compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies. Assess the condition and quality of individual credits based on financial, collateral, and documentation analysis. Quantify metrics such as: debt service capacity, leverage, liquidity, collateral coverage, guarantor support, etc. Determine the appropriate risk rating for Borrowers according to current Lending Policy and regulatory guidance. Promptly identify and report identified issues to senior CRR Officers.

Job Accountabilities

• Conducts loan review analysis of loans in the bank’s various portfolios. The individual will be responsible for: Evaluating compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies; Assessing the condition and quality of individual credits based on financial, collateral, and documentation analysis; Determining the appropriate risk rating on accounts according to current Lending Policy.
• Participates in special projects and targeted risk assessments as directed by department management.
• Interacts with lending officers, credit administration, loan servicing, and other bank employees in the process of performing risk assessment due diligence.
• Under the direction of a senior CRR officer, participates in discussions with affiliate management regarding loan grading and conclusions regarding credit underwriting, approval, and administration.
  

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Business discipline Required

• 4-7 years Loan Review, Commercial / Retail Lending, Credit Administration, or Regulatory Examination experience. Required
• 7-10 years Loan Review, Commercial / Retail Lending, Credit Administration, or Regulatory Examination experience. Preferred

• Other BAI Loan Review Certificate within 2 years, Required
• Other RMA Credit Risk Certified within 3-5 years, Preferred
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant within 3-5 years, Preferred
• CFA-Charted Financial Analyst within 3-5 years, Preferred
