Credit Risk Review Officer

Job Summary
Responsible for conducting loan review analysis of a specific segment of loans (i.e. CRE, C&I, Specialized, Retail) in the bank's portfolio under direct supervision from Senior CRR officers. Responsible for evaluating compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies. Assess the condition and quality of individual credits based on financial, collateral, and documentation analysis, quantifying metrics such as: debt service capacity, leverage, liquidity, collateral coverage, guarantor support, etc. Determine the appropriate risk rating for Borrowers according to current Lending Policy and regulatory guidance. Compile and analyze data, creating and updating spreadsheets, and working on special projects as assigned.

Job Accountabilities

• Conducts loan review analysis of loans in the bank's various portfolios. The individual will be responsible for: Evaluating compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies; Assessing the condition and quality of individual credits based on financial, collateral, and documentation analysis; Determining the appropriate risk rating on accounts according to current Lending Policy.
• Compiles data, creates and updates spreadsheets. Must be able to identify and obtain relevant data. Analyzes compiled data to determine compliance with both bank and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Participates in special projects and targeted risk assessments as directed by department management.
  

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Business discipline Required

• 2-4 years Loan Review, Commercial / Retail Lending, Credit Administration, or Regulatory Examination experience. Required
• 4-7 years Loan Review, Commercial / Retail Lending, Credit Administration, or Regulatory Examination experience. Preferred
