Our internship program is an 11-week experience that will allow you to gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the Insurance business by working with high-performing producers/leaders and establishing carrier relationships.

Our ideal candidate: is an independent and collaborative individual eager to be a part of our rotational program covering several areas of insurance specialties- Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, Personal Lines, Claims, and Risk. The ideal intern will attend sales meetings, participate in sales presentations and work on various projects that provide opportunities to become familiar with insurance coverages and how they relate to businesses and individuals. The Director of Business Development will supervise all interns.

The Role- What you’ll do as an Associated Intern:
- Learn in-depth knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits and Personal Line coverages
- Exposure to sales techniques utilized in the sale and placement of coverages
- Develop time management skills by providing carriers, coworkers, and clients with information required in an efficient manner
- Gain customer service skills through phone interaction with:
- Insurance carriers for adjuster information
- Insurance adjusters for status information
- Enhance your computer skills utilizing our Agency Management System-Epic

Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM - Monday-Thursday & Friday 8 AM to 12 PM
