What are the responsibilities and job description for the A/R Medical Specialist position at Associated Pain Specialists?
Associated Pain Specialists is growing by leaps and bounds. We are seeking a dedicated team member to add to our insurance department team. We are group of ladies that work well together and we are looking for that fun-loving and friendly but hard working team player to add to the team. We are serious about helping patients and helping each other.
Responsible for:
- Payment posting
- Insurance follow-up and appeals
- Work A/R
Strong working knowledge of managed care plans, insurance carriers, referrals, and precertification procedures. As well as strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifiers.
