We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a great team! In this role, you will be responsible for wire welding on various metals and alloys to create assemblies that meet strength and pressure requirements.
You will also perform spot welding operations on a range of parts and products. Your expertise will be essential in positioning, aligning, and fitting together fabricated plates, structural shapes, and weldments in preparation for assembly into structural fabricated products.
Responsibilities :
- Perform wire welding using aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
- Execute spot welding operations on various components.
- Position, align, and fit together fabricated parts to ensure proper assembly.
- Understand and process work orders accurately.
- Read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Requirements :
- Must be able to pass a welding test.
- Willingness to work overtime including weekends when required.
- Proven experience as a welder, with knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, MMA, etc.).
- Proficient in using electrical and manual tools (tape measures, saws, squares, calipers, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to wearing protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and dexterity.
- Professional Certification (e.g., AWS welding certificate) is a plus.
