Associates in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, P.C is a privately owned ENT practice seeking a part time fully licensed Audiologist to add to our team of two. We are a busy ENT practice located in the heart of Worcester. We have six Physicians, two of whom are Neuro-Otology fellowship trained, and two Physician Assistants. All care for both adult and pediatric patients.

You will be expected to administer diagnostic audiological evaluation to allow for the differentiation of various hearing disorders. Evaluation will include but is not limited to: otoscope exam, impedance testing, comprehensive audiological evaluation, and otoacoustic emissions. You will be responsible for interpreting test results, counseling patients and families, as well as consulting with and making recommendations on hearing disorders to the Physicians and PAs. The Audiologist will also be responsible for taking earmold impressions for swim plugs and custom hearing protection. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, passion for delivering high quality hearing services, and good record keeping skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: ·
  • A completed master’s degree or clinical doctorate in Audiology prior to employment start date ·
  • Certificate of clinical competence in Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or certification from the American Board of Audiology ·
  • Current Massachusetts state license in Audiology ·
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements
  • Ability to interpret and communicate test results in a manner easily understood by patients.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and adherence to HIPPA privacy guidelines
