Continuing Education Accreditation Project Coordinator

Overview

The Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) provides support and services to the social work regulatory community to advance safe, competent, and ethical practices to strengthen public protection.

ASWB is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to perform the role of Continuing Education Accreditation Project Coordinator in the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) department to review content and serve as a social work subject matter expert when reviewing applications for provider and individual course approvals for ASWB's Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. The Continuing Education Accreditation Project Coordinator provides input regarding the goals of the association's strategic plan and identifies and executes actions to improve program functionality and quality. This is NOT a fully remote position.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Master of Social Work

• Valid clinical social work license in good standing in any jurisdiction in the US or Canada

• Minimum two years' experience in the continuing education, higher education, continuing competence, accreditation, professional development, or regulation fields

• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

• Knowledge of professional CE market and/or adult education development and management

• Organized with strong attention to detail and project management skills

• Ability to collaborate with a variety of work groups

• Knowledge of evidence-based practice, peer-reviewed research, and social work scope of practice

• Strong problem-solver and multitasker

• Excellent general computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn and use new computer programs
