Operation Technology Specialist

The Operations Technology Specialist is responsible for deployment of hardware and software in a warehouse environment. This role is the first point of contact when issues occur and will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed.

Work Schedule: Weekends – Friday through Sunday from 5:00am to 5:30pm

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Configure production workstations
• Provide excellent customer service to front line associates and Operations Management.
• Maintain hardware and software of company servers, desktops, printers, phones, and other peripheral components.
• Administration of user account management and software versioning.
• Performs troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery procedures
• Coordinates with Corporate IT resources to ensure seamless delivery of user and production support services
• Installation of operating systems and custom applications on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS
• Configuration of peripheral computer equipment
• Maintains system support
• Assist with troubleshooting

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of information technology experience supporting and troubleshooting computers, printing, server(s), or other network issues.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a problem-solving environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
