Job Summary
As an Account Coordinator- Apprenticeship Program, you will gain an understanding of the Insurance Industry and procedures and workflows within our service teams. The program will provide you with a broad understanding of the insurance brokerage cycle through leadership discussion and training, subject matter expert training, industry representative training, and on the job training. You will build valuable skills in creating a foundation of insurance knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.
- Attend training as outlined in the 12 month training path to learn the basics of insurance.
- Participate in on the job training at your local office.
- Develop basic knowledge of the insurance industry and agency operations.
- Work within the Agency Management System to enter and track data.
- Update spreadsheets as needed.
- Work with Carriers on building relationships, meeting deadlines and creating correspondence as needed.
- Prepares policy binder, renewals, and other documents for delivery to insured.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel is expected to be minimal in this role.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents, and a high capacity for learning is critical.
- Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g., Microsoft Office and Excel)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
