SUMMARY: Assist Service Representative, Senior Account Manager and Account Executive with marketing’s using internal processes. Provides consultative support to the field and has a thorough knowledge of all lines of coverage. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following: - Reviews incoming prospects at a high level to determine marketing strategy and viability. - Assists in providing strategies for marketing presentations. - Reviews marketing approval and overall processes, including forms annually to ensure we are evolving. - Responsible for training and updating staff as needed. - Provides strategic input and assistance in targeted marketing. - Maintains accurate documentation for Keenan Municipality pooled products, such as PACE and MDP. Includes spreadsheets, benefit comparisons, along with carrier documents such as the SBCs. - Conducts research of specific territories for carrier networks, provider access, benefits, and other competitive components relative to client/prospect needs. - Updates internal marketing spreadsheets to align with BenefitPoint changes or requested companywide changes. - Trains new marketing coordinators. - Maintains BenefitPoint on existing customers, ensuring all plans/rates are current/reviewed and follow the established data standards and rate versioning process. - Responsible for all marketing’s using BenefitPoint for prospects and existing customers following the established marketing procedures. - Provides effective service to the Account Manager and Account Executive team while assisting with marketing projects. - Prepares marketing plan and/or rate comparisons as required for quotes. - Assists with installation of new cases. - Completes administrative requirements for carrier. - Prepares required Sales and Service reports. - Works with Account Manager, Service Representative and Account Executive to increase office effectiveness and productivity. - Exhibits excellent communication skills with clients, carriers, and other Keenan staff. - All other duties as assigned. MINIMUM SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of three (3) years of group marketing insurance experience required. - Life and Disability license required. - Thorough knowledge of multiple lines of coverage and benefits, excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision. - Flexible hours and ability to travel. - Willingness to participate in continuing education programs (preferably group-insurance related).
