Overview

The Junior Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the Account Management team in providing service to existing client accounts and new business opportunities. This position is for those looking to launch or further their insurance career with the goal of managing a growing book of business under the supervision of an Account Executive.

Responsibilities

Egis Insurance & Risk Advisors, an AssuredPartners Company, is seeking a Commercial Lines Junior Account Manager to join our team in Lake Mary, Florida.

The Junior Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the Account Management team in providing service to existing client accounts and new business opportunities. This position is for those looking to launch or further their insurance career with the goal of managing a growing book of business under the supervision of an Account Executive. Ideal candidates will become eligible for advancement into an Account Manager position.

The role and training will focus on the following responsibilities and competencies:

• Delivering outstanding client service by helping clients with policy changes, renewals, and billing questions
• Assisting with client insurance policy administrative processes, including tracking, renewals, new policy set-up, online rating, invoicing, accounts receivables monitoring, and policy review
• Maintaining current, accurate information in the agency management system
• Developing and maintaining positive, productive relationships with agents, managers, peers, coworkers, teammates, and employees
• Assisting in office projects and presentations

Desired Capabilities, Qualifications, and Experience:

• 1 year of experience with a commercial insurance agency preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with confidential documents
• AMS360 software experience a plus
• 2-year college degree or greater is desired
• Experience working with public entities, self-insurance pools or trusts is a plus
• Requires a 4-40 and or 2-20 Customer Representative license
