Overview
The Licensing Coordinator performs clerical and administrative duties for the department. This role works in coordination with Licensing Representative to assist in managing the Agency’s licensing needs and assists Agents with the state requirements.

What You'll Do
Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.
- Gathers data related to licensing of agents. Audits monthly new business reports to determine if any agent licensure as needed.
- Performs data entry to maintain licensing database, changing status of terminated licensed staff, and updating agent licensing and appointment information and address changes.
- Updates agent information in PCRM and NIPR websites. Process name changes, changes of business or resident address via NIPR website or by completing appropriate state DOI paperwork. Maintains individual license copies when renewed for PCRM.
- Process licensing copy requests. Emails or faxes copies of licenses and/or E&O certificate to carriers or staff upon request.
- Works directly with licensed staff, Agency Contract Manager, Agency Licensing Administrator and insurance carriers to ensure that licensed staff are properly appointed with insurance carriers to transact business.
- Works with carriers to appoint newly acquired entity and licensed staff.
- Completes and submits requested paperwork as needed of appointment terminations upon termination of licensed employee via email, fax, or phone.
- Files agency licensing in appropriate entity licensing folder.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel is expected to be negligible in this role.

What You'll Need
- Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Agency Management Software and Microsoft Office products
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
