Small Business, Commercial Account Manager

Overview

AssuredPartners in Santa Ana is seeking a Property and Casualty Licensed Commercial Account Manager to support both small business and middle market clients and senior team members. The Commercial Account Manager provides client service by handling the day-to-day operations of clients' insurance needs and works to support and deliver proper insurance and risk management services for clients.

What You'll Do

• Client Support
  • Maintains accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries.
  • Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.
• Account Management
  • Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Follows company procedures to achieve positive audit results.
  • Ensures accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy in rating, coverage, signatures, and enters thesetransactions to generate billing invoices.
  • Reviews all premium audits according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process promptly.
  • Reviews accounts receivable report for all assigned accounts to support client retention.
• Insurance Expertise
  • Leverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.
  • Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.

What You'll Need

• 3 years of commercial insurance experience required
• Property and Casualty License required
• Working knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business and industry
• Problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentationsoftware
