Job Description
ASSYST has requirements for a Junior Network Technician who has excellent hands on experience working with Linux environment, at our headquarters in Sterling, Virginia.
Job Type: Full Time/Permanent Job Location: Sterling, Virginia (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Manages PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
- Provides basic helpdesk support of computer accounts, access cards, software upgrades.
- Assists with daily backup and infrastructure tasks.
- Assists with managing network printers and copiers
- Tracks and monitors computer inventory
- Documents internal procedures
Requirements:
- Experience working with Linux operating systems.
- Good knowledge of networking concepts, Hardware experience is a plus!
- Willingness to learn and be mentored by technical leads.
- US Citizenship is required; with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
