This position has available openings for 32-40 hours biweekly, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Room patients and obtain data including height, weight, blood pressure, and vision acuity
- Perform reception/clerical tasks including patient referrals, scheduling, receiving messages, restocking supplies, and restocking exam rooms
- Assist with transferring patients around the facility
- Prepare exam rooms for new patients
- Complete accurate documentation in patient charts
Competencies required include:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service, patient care and overall experience
- Understanding of health care system and continuum of care
- Strong computer skills with ability to become skilled in EPIC with training
Education and experience required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in healthcare or medical terminology preferred
