Astera Health currently has a Full-Time Facilities Technician opening. The primary function of this role is to provide maintenance and engineering necessary for the care of Astera Health's facilities. This team works together to provide a safe, pleasant, and comfortable physical environment for patients, employees, medical staff, visitors, and the general public.
Schedule/Hours Available:
- Full-Time: 40hours per week, Monday-Friday day shift with evening and weekend on-call rotation every 4th week. On call status requires a maximum 30-minute call back window. Astera Health will offer an on-site accommodation if needed.

Some responsibilities of the Facilities Technician include, but are not limited to the following:
Education and experience required:
- Furthered education within related facilities management field (i.e. technical college, stationary steam engineering class and plant and building maintenance)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in building maintenance and/or operation of plant.
- Second Class C Boilers License or Special Engineer with ability to obtain 2C within 1 year
- Electrical Maintenance License or higher by MN State Board of Electricity or able to obtain the license within 6 months
- Valid drivers license
- Proficient in general building maintenance including: operating power tools, basic skills in electricity, mechanics, heat/cooling systems, plumbing, carpentry, blue print reading, and programmable logic controller operations
- Or; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
