Entry-level AR Insurance Specialist wanted for Health Clinic! ***ON-SITE***
Beacon Hill, Seattle area
$20-22/hr
3 Month Contract to Hire
Description:
- Day-to-day responsibilities
- Review past due claims
- Research and fix claims for payment
- Investigate through insurance company and EPIC to find errors
- Resubmit claims for payment and follow-up to ensure payment
- Post all payments and adjustments to the specified patient account
- Review scanned documentation to identify contractual amounts, denials or payment adjustments that require posting to patient accounts
- Assist in the research and correction of posting errors
- Process electronic remittances and balances to wire transfer as appropriate
- Post and balance all cash received daily and month end
- Balance electronic and manual posted cash receipts through the generation and in-depth analysis of necessary reports
Must haves:
- A/R experience
- Strong excel skills
- Billing Experience
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience working with insurance companies
- L&I MediCare
- EPIC billing applications
- Denials, how to make claims edits
