Job Description:
Staff accountant is responsible for special projects, month end closing, quarterly review, annual audit, budgeting/forecasting, internal auditing, preparation/verification of internal/external reports, financial reporting and analysis, account reconciliations, accounting policy compliance, and overall accounting administrative functions. This position exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.
• Prepare month-closing work.
• Prepare monthly recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Research and prepare projects.
• Other accounting functions and duties as requirement.
• Branch support in connection with accounting matters.
• Process daily cash reconciliation including accounts receivable cash allocation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field
• Minimum 2 years experience working in an accounting or finance department, or similar industry.
