What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Consultant position at Aston Carter?

- Assist with month-end accounting functions including, but not limited to, preparing and/or reviewing journal entries
- Balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis
- Continually improve current processes to gain efficiencies, improve reporting and achieve meaningful insight into business drivers
- Ensure that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected and develop additional policies and procedures as necessary.
- Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance
2 years of Accounting experience
2 years of advanced Excel experience
Preferred:
2 years of Retail industry experience
2 years of Lawson and Oracle experience
Experience Level:
Expert Level
