Description:
Our company is seeking an experienced motivated Accounting Manager to lead a growing team of accounting professionals. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, managing financial reporting and developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll • Review monthly reports for regulatory agencies • Manage the month end close process and checklists to ensure results are completed timely and accurately • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations • Participate in monthly operational calls to review results with leaders • Provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team including coaching, mentoring and performance management • Assist with managing the annual audit process, working with external auditors to ensure a timely and efficient audit • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting with two years in a management role • Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
