POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to assist with a wide variety of accounting functions, including input of AP invoices and issuing checks, processing employee expense reports, copying, filing, outgoing/incoming mail, and deposits. This role is specifically intended to provide direct support to the Washington supported living program. "Supported living" means instruction, supports, and services provided by service providers to clients living in homes that are owned, rented, or leased by the client or their legal representative. This role falls into the category of client services which means instruction and support services that service providers are responsible to provide as identified in the client’s individual support plan. "Individual instruction and support plan" means a plan developed by the service provider and the client.
EXPERIENCE:
1. A college degree in the area of accounting or a related field or one to two year related experience strongly preferred.
2. Experience with Dynamics Accounting Software preferred.

- Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills strongly preferred.
- Accurate typing and data entry skills.

- Input accounts payable invoices into Dynamics accounting software system and review invoices for proper coding and authorization.
- Process employee expense reports. Review for complete and accurate information, total multiple reports, and verify calculations.
- Scanning of deposits.
- Preparing and entering accruals, performing general ledger postings, and monthly/year-end reconciliations.
- Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with employees and vendors.
- Processing credit card payments.
