A Garbage/Fire Truck repair company is looking to hire a Inside Sales Representative/Service Liaison to their team in Hillsboro, Oregon! Talent: Auto Industry Experience!! Candidates should have Direct Service Writer, Dealership Service Department experience and Mechanical Aptitude.
Pay: $26 - $30/hr
Job Description:
- Handle incoming and outgoing service related phone calls
- Open and update work orders
- Communicate with customers concerning jobs status, updates
- Maintain Rapport by explaining job scopes, estimates and expected return dates of equipment
- Interpret inspection results (working with technicians) and present results to customer
- Maintain service filing
- Assist with shop scheduling
- Coordinate with parts for pricing and availability
Skills & Qualifications:
- Service Writer/Dealership Service Experience
- Good knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of heavy duty equipment
- Fundamental knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
Good to Have Skills:
- Mechanic experience
- Valid Driver’s License – Class 3
- Proficient with Computers – Experience with CDK
- Mechanically Inclined – knowledge of heavy equipment
